In March 2004, the Post-Domain underwent a re-launch and expanded the eligibility for
registering Post-Domains.
"Under the revised eligibility policy, all private-sector organizations are now eligible to register second-level .POST domain names. This new policy is designed to expand the role of .POST to include providers of postal & supply chain solutions including, but not limited to, track-and trace, logistics, identity, cross-border payments and blockchain applications."
The Sunrise Period for Post-Domains will begin on March 15. During the Sunrise Period, trademark owners can register Post-Domains that match their trademarks. Registration of the trademark with the Trademark Clearinghouse is not necessary for participation in the Sunrise Period.
The initial registration fee for standard Post-Domains is 300 US-Dollar per Post-Domain. The renewal fee for a standard Post-Domain is 200 US-Dollar per year.
