The ICANN process of introducing new top level domains is progressing.The Sunrise Period of the Hot-Domains starts on April 2, 2025, and runs until May 2, 2025. During the sunrise period, trademark owners can register their trademarks under the Hot-Domain as a domain of the same name. The trademarks must be registered in the Trademark Clearinghouse .

Some companies and organizations have not yet registered their important terms as trademarks. Such companies and organizations can also get a Hot-Domain in the sunrise period.
