Free Pre-Registration of Realtor-Domains

ICANN's preparations for the launch of New Top Level Domains are in progress. Registrations of the New Top Level Domains begin at the fourth quarter of 2013.

Here you can pre-register your name among the most important New Top Level Domains like the Realtor-domain. Pre-registration is free, but binding. If we secure the name you would like for you, you must pay the domain fee. Initially, we have set the domain fee at 60 US-Dollars per year.

If the cost should turn out to be higher, e.g. because of an expensive Sunrise Period, we will contact you so that you can confirm or withdraw your application.

What is the aim of Realtor-domains? The registry explains: "The National Association of REALTORS® (NAR), The Voice for Real Estate®, is the world’s largest professional association, representing greater than one million members over approximately 1,400 local associations/boards....The mark REALTOR® identifies a real estate professional who is a member of NAR and subscribes to NAR’s Constitution, Bylaws and rules and regulations, including NAR’s strict Code of Ethics... .One way of promoting adoption and use of .REALTOR which NAR intends to explore includes providing support to REALTORS® in promoting their on-line real estate businesses by allowing individual REALTORS® to acquire their name at the second level. In this example, a REALTOR® who otherwise may not be able to obtain a second level domain of 'my name' in a meaningful TLD will be able to use 'my name' at the second level of the .REALTOR gTLD, which would inherently be very meaningful."
