Free Pre-Registration of Ruhr-Domains

ICANN's preparations for the launch of New Top Level Domains are in progress. The sunrise period of Ruhr-Domains has started 21th January 2014..

Here you can pre-register your name among the most important New Top Level Domains like the ruhr-domain. Pre-registration at the Landrush Period is free, but binding. If we secure the name you would like for you, you must pay the domain fee. The price of the Ruhr-Domain at the Sunrise Period, Ruhr-Period and Landrush Period is 60 EURO per domain and fee.

At the Sunrise Period only trademark owners can register Ruhr-Domains, at the Ruhr-Period only inhabitants from the Metropole Region Ruhr can register Ruhr-Domains. In the Sunrise period and Ruhr-Period a further participation fee of 400 EURO for each application has to be paid in advance. The Participation Fee will not be paid back, if the application fails to succeed, e.g. as a competitor bids more for the domain in an auction.

If the cost should turn out to be higher, e.g. because of an expensive Sunrise Period, we will contact you so that you can confirm or withdraw your application.
